Your Impact
The Quality Control Head role is based in Amman, Jordan, reports to the COO, and will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously improving Quality Control governance, including inspection plans, sampling strategies, acceptance criteria, and inspection frequency across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
What You'll Do
Establish, implement, and continuously improve Quality Control (QC) governance, including inspection plans, sampling strategies, inspection frequency, and acceptance criteria.
Ensure products meet defined quality standards through inspection and sampling at all maturity stages: raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
Define and validate QC protocols and procedures to reduce errors in end products and improve overall product consistency.
Lead and oversee raw material sampling programs, ensuring proper controls and traceability throughout manufacturing processes.
Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure QC activities align with validated production processes.
Drive structured quality issue resolution, including: Issuing Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) for raw material nonconformities. Establishing and managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) for WIP and finished goods issues.
Develop and communicate short-term, medium-term, and long-term action plans to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and maintain investigation protocols for market complaints related to finished goods.
Ensure timely, compliant, and data-driven complaint investigations with documented outcomes and follow-up actions.
Provide feedback to QA on process performance, deviations, and opportunities for process improvement based on inspection outcomes.
Monitor and analyze quality trends to proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Optimize inspection efficiency, sampling methodologies, and resource utilization without compromising quality.
Leverage digital and analytical tools to track performance, identify root causes, and support decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing outcomes.
Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations.
Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work-related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
10+ years of relevant experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing setting
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
Experience of various stages of production
Six Sigma Certification is a plus
