Your Impact
The Scrum Master role is based in Jordan and reports to the Delivery Head and will play a critical role in enabling agile delivery by coaching and supporting Scrum Teams to effectively apply Scrum principles and practices. The role focuses on facilitating team ceremonies, removing impediments, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth collaboration between Product, Engineering, QA, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality value predictably and efficiently.
What You'll Do
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Coach Scrum Teams on Agile and Scrum values, principles, and best practices.
Ensure the team adheres to the agreed Scrum processes and continuously improves them.
Remove or escalate impediments and blockers that impact team delivery.
Work closely with Product Managers to ensure a well-refined, prioritized, and ready backlog.
Support teams in sprint commitment, capacity planning, and sprint execution.
Promote transparency through effective use of Jira boards, metrics, and reporting.
Track and improve team flow metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and predictability.
Facilitate cross-team and cross-product coordination where dependencies exist.
Protect the team from external disruptions and scope creep during the sprint.
Encourage self-organization, accountability, and ownership within the team.
Support the adoption of engineering and quality best practices in collaboration with Tech Leads and QA.
Identify risks early and proactively support mitigation actions.
Partner with leadership to continuously mature Agile practices across the organization.
Ensure that lessons learned and improvement actions from retrospectives are tracked and implemented.
Support the onboarding of new team members into Scrum ways of working.
Adhere to quality standards, organizational policies, and safety procedures.
Take appropriate actions related to any work-related risks or issues and escalate as required.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager to support organizational objectives.
What To Bring
3–5 years of experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
Scrum Master certification, such as PSM I / II, CSM, or equivalent,t is a plus
Experience working with Jira and Agile project management tools
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
