Your Impact
The Technical Support Specialist role is based in Jordan and reports to IT Infrastructure Head and will be responsible for managing and resolving technical support tickets while assisting with system administration tasks. This role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, providing user training, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with the IT team to improve support processes, ensuring optimal technology use across the organization.
What You'll Do
Monitor and manage technical support tickets in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing effective solutions to users.
Provide training and support to users on software applications and systems to enhance their technical proficiency.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist with system administration tasks, including user account management, software installations, and updates.
Work closely with the IT team to enhance support processes and share insights on common user issues.
Identify areas for improvement in support processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
Promote cybersecurity best practices among users and assist in monitoring compliance with security policies.
Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations.
Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCMA) is preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in technical support or system administration.
Good English communication skills verbal and written.
