Your Impact
The Warehouse Specialist role is based in Jordan and reports to the Warehouse Manager. The role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, with an emphasis on inventory accuracy, proper material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in ensuring stock is efficiently managed and available to support smooth and timely operations across the supply chain.
What You'll Do
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain accurate records.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming materials and products.
- Coordinate and execute the picking, packing, and shipping of orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain an organized warehouse layout to optimize space and facilitate efficient material handling.
- Implement and follow best practices for inventory storage and product organization.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, warehouse standards, and company policies.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations and process improvements.
- Assist in training new warehouse staff and providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, shipments, and receipts.
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activities, including inventory status and order fulfillment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the Warehouse Manager.
- Address and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to develop and implement solutions to operational challenges.
- Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations.
- Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or a related domain.
- Prior experience working within Free Zone regulations is preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics processes and documentation; direct logistics experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in English, including technical terminology used in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., using formulas, pivot tables, data tracking).
