Your Impact
The Head of Operational Excellence (OpEx) is based in Jordan and reports to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible for leading cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives that improve operational performance, drive strategic transformation, and enable long-term scalability. Reporting directly to the COO, this role serves as a key execution partner, leading critical projects and building the systems and teams needed to deliver the company’s 5-year full potential plan.
What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of mission-critical initiatives delegated by the COO, driving them from planning through execution and performance tracking
- Establish and lead a centralized project portfolio management system “OpEx cockpit” to oversee all major initiatives across departments.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, market access and penetration, cost reduction, improved efficiency, and driving scalability.
- Recruit, lead, and manage a team of project managers as needed to scale execution across the business.
- Analyze complex business challenges, design practical solutions, and oversee implementation with a focus on sustainability and scalability.
- Drive continuous improvement programs, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain standardized operational plans, governance frameworks, tools, and templates for all OpEx projects.
- Ensure robust project risk management, compliance, and regulatory alignment.
- Provide strategic insights through advanced data analysis, benchmarking, and market research to inform decisions.
- Build internal project and change management capabilities through training, coaching, and mentorship.
- Partner closely with senior leaders across Clinical, Operations, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance, P&C, and other functions.
- Support enterprise change management efforts, ensuring stakeholder alignment and successful adoption of initiatives.
- Communicate vision, progress, and outcomes to the SLT when required to enable informed decision-making.
- Continuously monitor internal KPIs, projects driving them, and external trends to refine operational excellence strategies.
- Ensure alignment of all initiatives with the company’s strategic roadmap and long-term objectives.
- Adhere to internal quality, safety, and regulatory standards, taking action or escalating when necessary.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the COO to support organizational effectiveness.
What To Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 12-15 years of experience in PMO, operational excellence, management consulting, business transformation, or a related role.
- Experience in End-to-End Project Ownership, Portfolio & Program Management, Cross-Functional Operational collaboration is a must.
- Certifications in LSSGB/LSSBB, and PMP are highly preferred.
- MBA and Industrial Engineering are highly preferred.
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing is preferred.
