Your Impact
The Maintenance Engineer is based in Jordan from our factory located near Queen Alia International Airport, reports to the Assistant Maintenance Manager, and will be responsible for supporting maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of equipment and facilities within the manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and production disruptions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including inspections, lubrication, and calibration of machinery and systems.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and procedures to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
- Provide technical expertise and support to production teams and maintenance technicians on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts procurement, repairs, and equipment upgrades.
- Assist in the implementation of equipment modifications and improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance KPIs, and operational metrics as required.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among maintenance team members.
- Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations.
- Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
- A Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing plants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics/Electromechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
- Experience in PLC systems and machine control panels.
- Experience in electromechanical maintenance of machines.
- Experience in handling calibration and inspection equipment.
- Experience in handling and maintaining hand and power tools.
