Your Impact
The QHSE Supervisor role is based in Jordan and reports to the Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property, and Total Quality Management Manager and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across supply chain operations. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining robust QHSE management systems to uphold the highest standards of product quality, workplace safety, and environmental stewardship.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement quality Control processes and procedures to ensure products meet the internally set standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of manufacturing and supply chain processes, , including raw material (RM) inspection and release, work-in-progress (WIP) inspection, (FG) inspection, and addressing client complaints.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Develop and oversee environmental management programs to minimize Eon Dental's environmental footprint.
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste generation, promote recycling, and conserve resources.
- Evaluate suppliers and vendors based on QHSE criteria and conduct audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to establish QHSE requirements in supplier contracts and agreements.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to resolve QHSE issues and improve performance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to QHSE activities, including incident reports, inspection records, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit QHSE performance reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Lead QHSE improvement projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of QHSE excellence and awareness throughout the organization.
Adhere to the quality standards and safety procedures as per the company guidelines and local regulations. - Take appropriate actions in relation to any hazards and work related issues, and escalate as needed, in order to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by the line manager, in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational objectives.
What To Bring
- BSc/BA in Engineering.
- Excellent English communication skills
- 5+ years of QHSE experience in medical devices, pharma, or food production
- 1+ years of people management experience
- In-depth understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Hands-on executor with the ability to drive QHSE initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and OSHA standards is preferred
